100 Thousand Users Facebook Use Features Organ Donor

CALIFORNIA - An organ donor groups say many people who have used the features of the donor organ on Facebook. The new option was announced Tuesday by the CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg to increase the number of potential organ donors.

Quoted from Yahoo News, Thursday (05/03/2012), according to the organ donor group, more than 100 thousand people use Facebook's new features are on the first day to declare their donors. Donate Life America, a group that worked with say 100 thousand Facebook users are adding their donor status Tuesday night.

Features Facebook provides a link to the state registrar, so that people can sign up officially become an organ donor. Apparently a lot of interest, as evidenced in the Wednesday morning there were 18 thousand Facebook users have used these links.

Although 18 thousand is a lot of numbers, is not known follow-up of the registrant. Facebook spokesman said, they do not know how much of a follow-up was 18 thousand registered or already registered.
