International airlines from Europe, Lufthansa, has just inaugurated the new fleet. Boeing plane made it into the longest in the world.
Boeing 747-8 fleet officially became one airline Lufthansa. With a wingspan of up to 225 feet, the jet has two floors of the passenger seat that consists of first-class seats, 92 business class seats and 258 economy. With a length of up to 250.3 feet, this aircraft has been named the world's longest.
Lufthansa was the first commercial airline using Boeing 747-8. His first flight will begin on June 1, 2012, from Frankfurt to Washington DC
Lufthansa's new fleet dubbed the "Queen of Space", as submitted by the Executive Vice President of Lufthansa, Nico Buchholz.
"Queen of Space is the result of a solid partnership between Boeing and Lufthansa," he said, as quoted from the HuffingtonPost, Friday (05/04/2012).
Lufthansa has ordered 20 Boeing 747-8 aircraft are planned to be used for flights from Germany to Los Angeles, Chicago, New Delhi, and Bangalore this year.
