LONDON - Mobile phones do not increase cancer risk, according to a large study involving more than 350,000 people by Danish researcher.
The results of this study was released in the British Medical Journal website, combined with a series of other studies have reached similar conclusions.
Scientists from the Institute of Cancer Epidemiology, Copenhagen saw at least a 30-year-old man who patronize phones and compare with people with brain tumors who are not users between 1990 and 2007.
"This paper supports the majority of other reports which found no adverse effects from the use of the phone under normal exposure," said Malcolm Sperrin, director of Medical Physics at the British Royal Berkshire Hospital, as reported by Reuters on Friday (10/21/2011).
This study certainly not in line with previous research. In late May, the WHO conducted a study using cell phones can cause cancer.
But just over a month later on the epidemiology of the Radiation Protection Committee said the scientific evidence shows no connection between cell phone use and brain tumors.
