Surabaya : Double Skin Bulk Carrier Vessel (DSBC) 50,000 Dead Weight Tonnage Erlyne (DWT), produced by PT PAL Indonesia is among the best ship in the world
for class ship 50,000 tons dead weight. The ship is also known by the name "Star 50" 189.840 meters long and 30.50 meters wide is entirely the result of design and construction of the sons and daughters of Indonesia.
"DSBC Erlyne 50.000 DWT ship is a superior product PT PAL Indonesia. The ship was using local content of 35 percent to 45 percent with high-quality ingredients," said Mustafa Abubakar, Minister of State Enterprises at the launch DSBC Erlyne 50.000 DWT ship at Shipyard Trade Division PT PAL Indonesia, Surabaya, on Friday (15/10/2010).
DSBC Erlyne 50.000 DWT ship is designed to meet the operational requirements and designed by Det Norske class Verits (DNV Class). According to the Director of PT PAL Indonesia Harsusanto, from design, speed DSBC Erlyne 50.000 DWT vessel has a maximum speed of 14.5 knots. But, after tested in the ocean, the maximum speed can reach 16.5 knots.
"Quality body refinement of this ship is not lost with foreign ships. This is one of the best ship in the world," said Harsusanto.

DSBC Erlyne 50.000 DWT ship is the ninth ship of the class ship DSBC successfully exported to several countries. Some countries that have imported boats of this type are Hong Kong (four units), Germany (two units), Turkey (two units), and Singapore (one unit).
