Hungarian Entrepreneurs Create Statue of Steve Jobs


BUDAPEST - The late Steve Jobs as one of the founder and former CEO of Apple, has many fans dizzy. One software entrepreneur from Hungary took the initiative to create a bronze statue of Jobs as a mark of respect from the eccentric figure of the iPhone and iPod maker.

Is Gabor Bojar, chairman of software company Graphisoft Hungarian origin has decided to make a bronze statue of Jobs. Bojar cooperate with one sculptor named Erno Toth to make a replica of Jobs. To make this bronze statue, Toth took photos Jobs from one of the magazine.

As in quotation Yahoo News, Saturday (10/12/2011), Bojar asked Toth to make the statue as closely as possible to the character and habits of co-founder of Apple. The statue was created as high as 7 feet or 2.2 meters and it is kind of looks like Jobs, like a model wearing a turtleneck shirt, jeans and grasp an iPhone in his hand.

Unfortunately on the side of the face, yet looks a lot like the real face Jobs, but Toth says this has not been completed and still under construction. He also added later if everything is selsai would be similar and it looks exactly like Jobs who always grasp the iPhone.

First memories Bojar met with Jobs occurred approximately three decades ago, when the two met in exhibition technology. Bojar admitted impressed and very sympathetic with the figure of Jobs since then, plus when Jobs started to hit the world by creating an iPad and iPhone.

According Bojar, his desire to make the statue is in honor of the iconic figure of the creator of mobile devices is very ambitious in creating an innovation. As is known Jobs has died at age 56 years, due to pancreatic cancer.
