ONTARIO - A study of Unidentified flying objects (UFO) sightings in Canada showed a record high in 2011. Therefore encourage researchers to conduct further research on the UFO phenomenon.
Ufology Research, which tracks UFO sightings in Canada since 1989 said there were 986 sightings in 2011. Thus this figure is close to 1004 appearances in 2008. During the study, Ontario became the region with the highest number of UFO sightings is 406 appearances. As reported by IBTimes on Thursday (7/25/2012).
The study noted that only 11 percent of unexplained sightings. The rest is defined as regular lights in the sky.
"The results of these studies show many people continue to report unusual objects in the sky, and some of these objects have no explanation. Many witnesses are pilots, police and others who have the ability to observe objects and provide a good assessment," wrote notes that research.
