LONDON - The courtier Ghana national team was disappointed, though capable of holding England 1-1 in friendly match on Wednesday (3/30/2011) early this morning. Forces-nicknamed the Black Stars Ghana squad-feel slighted landing Fabio Capello.
In fact, most players dream of Ghana duel with big stars of The Three Lions, like John Terry, Frank Lampard and Wayne Rooney. But it turns out, Capello nevertheless lowered the key players at Wembley Stadium, London.
According to former Ghana captain Stephen Appiah, Asamoah Gyan et al feel slighted by Capello. In fact, Appiah says, not a few of them are reluctant to play again in these hallowed stadium. "Some of the Ghana players are very sad because they (England's star player) does not appear," said Appiah on the BBC.
"They seem to underestimate this match. In fact, many Ghanaian players who come from America, Canada and from around the world. It was like a dream come true. It's a big party and all the players want to fight, "growled.
