"I'm the Best Director of Football in the UK"

Okezone - Newcastle United's former manager, Joe Kinnear was appointed as director of football ended the Magpies. Yet to start work, the controversial figure directly prides itself as director of football in England.

Kinnear actually is a coach, who had coached several clubs such as Wimbledon, Luton Town, Nottingham Forest and Newcastle itself. However, his coaching career was smooth as always failed to bring the team he coached achievement.

"Every top club here has a director of football. Coaches can not do everything (himself). I probably was a football coach who became the director of football. I do not know if there are other coaches who do the same thing with me, "said Kinnear, as reported by The Sun on Wednesday (07/03/2013).

"I have 35 years of training to be the best coach ever. I also won every award in football as a player. All these things make me more powerful than all the other football director. Some directors had never played football in one game, "he continued.

Some clubs that competed in the Premier League does have a director of football figure, they include Tiki Begiristain (Man.City), Joe Kinnear (Newcastle United), Roberto de Fanti (Sunderland). While some technical director is Michael Emenalo (Chelsea), Mark Cartwright (Stoke City), Franco Baldini (Tottenham), and Richard Garlick (West Brom).
