Drogba to Barca?

BARCELONA - surprising news comes from the Ivory Coast international striker Didier Drogba. It has been rumored that the former Chelsea striker will join Barcelona.

Drogba is believed to have signed a contract with Shanghai. However, reports from Spain said, in a deal that there is a contract clause that allows him to move to Camp Nou on a free transfer.

As reported, the striker will be scheduled to arrive in Barcelona on Tuesday to discuss a possible move. Spanish football correspondent, Guillem Balague says, though dubious, but it will still move forward.

"Drogba has a clause allowing him to leave Shanghai Shenhua for free if Barcelona reach him. He will meet Spanish club tomorrow (Tuesday-red), "said Balague, as reported by ESPN, Tuesday (26/06/2012).

"Although the meeting tomorrow, the source of the Barcelona club said it wanted to bring in Drogba, if the price is too high," he continued.

Drogba is Chelsea's hero in the Champions League final embrace this season. Last weekend he has been officially confirmed the status of Shanghai Shenhua players.
