San Mames - President of San Cristóbal de los Angeles, Pedro Albares Iniesta revealed that the club was saved from bankruptcy thanks to a donation of four thousand pounds, or approximately Rp 60 million of their students, Raúl González.
Legendary striker not only has the nature of leadership, but also flowing generosity. Raul spent three seasons with the local team before joining the academy Cristobal Atleticio Madrid in the spring of 1990 and then across to the club's city rivals Real Madrid.
Raúl together with Cristóbal might be only a memory, but the 34-year-old player never to forget the least of his childhood club services. This was proved when he saw his former club on the verge of collapse.
"I was informed that he had sent her money, and everything is running smoothly," said Iniesta, as reported by the U.S..
