Official Drogba Leave Chelsea

LONDON - Chelsea striker Didier Drogba flagship has officially parted ways. This in itself confirmed by Ron Gourlay who incidentally is the chief executive of Chelsea. Gourlay explained Drogba wants to leave because it intends to seek new challenges.

"Didier (Drogba) was undoubtedly a Chelsea legend and will always be part of a large family of Chelsea. He was in a happy feeling after Saturday night (Champions League Final), but he felt it time to seek new challenges, "said Gourlay, like disitat of Metro, Wednesday (23/05/2012).

Drogba's departure was a surprise because he had just become a hero of Chelsea in the Champions League final.
