140 Ms. Schools Afghanistan Poisoned

KABUL - Approximately 140 girls schools in Afghanistan were taken to hospital, after they drank the water that is believed to have been poisoned. The water is poisoned, it is believed an act of the opponents of women to receive education in schools.
"We suspect a radical group opposed to women to go to school is behind this incident," said Takhar provincial governor, Mohammad Hussain told AFP on Wednesday (04/18/2012).
According to Hussain, this incident took place after a student in high school in the city of Rustaq, fetching water for drinking water storage in their schools. Suddenly, several girls who had drunk water in pain and immediately rushed to a nearby hospital.
But the Afghan Education Ministry spokesman Abdul Saboor, asking not to take quick conclusions about the perpetrators of this water poisoning incident.
"According to reports, several girls panicked and immediately taken to the hospital. Some of them were still hospitalized and most have been allowed to go home. We think this is just a small incident. Investigation will continue," said Saboor.
During the Taliban rule in Afghanistan, women are forbidden to go to school and work. But after the Taliban destroyed by the invasion of the United States (U.S.) in late 2001, the openness was being felt by the women of Afghanistan.
Millions of women are now able to enjoy the lessons in schools spread across Afghanistan. But not infrequently the student and their teacher was attacked by a party who does not like women to go to school.
