BOLOGNA - MotoGP 2011 The competition to be the worst season for Valentino Rossi. However, Ducati is predicted to rise again become a strong competitor and champion at the upcoming 2012 season.
Since decided to move to Ducati, the end of last season, Rossi was like losing his touch in the spur of the motor. Of the 18 series that was held, The Doctor failed to win a single victory and had to settle for being the order of seven final standings. These results clearly be the worst season for VR46 throughout his career in motor racing world.
Responding to this, The Doctor's head mechanic, Jerry Burgess asserted when failures Rossi last season could not be separated from non-technical factors. One adaptation to the Desmosedici is not running smooth, plus a number of development that does not run. However, for the next season where the race will enter a new era that is 1000cc, Burgess believes The Doctor will rise.
With capacities of the larger motors, plus enough time to perform motor development, a man who always accompany Rossi since I was at Honda is believed, drivers 32 years it will be able to compete with Casey Stoner and Jorge Lorenzo in the hunt for the crown a champion, even though it is believed not an easy thing.
"I do not think, riders like Rossi has done everything to solve this difficult problem. Obviously, this condition will actually make it more resilient, "said Burgess told MCN, Saturday (10/12/2011).
"I doubt if we ever encounter this situation while at Honda as well as with the Yamaha. But, when we know the defense team (Ducati) and those in the garage, we always expect a victory, "continued Burgess assess the difficulties they experienced with Rossi on the Ducati is a challenge.
