Facebook Hold HTC to Smartphones 'True'

TAIPEI, Taiwan - Social networking giant Facebook took the HTC smart phone vendors to develop its own smart phone, using Google's Android operating system.
Previously, Facebook had a special cooperates with Taiwanese vendors to create 'Facebook phone'. However, when the phone with the code name of ChaCha, less lost in the highlight of his hand up. Well, apparently this smart phone will be different, because it will be true up the phone.
Reported by the Hollywood Reporter, Tuesday (22/11/2011), HTC phones, Facebook is rumored to be having the code name of 'Buffy', a name that reminds us of the soap opera ever boom between 1997 to 2003, starring Sarah Michelle Gellar.
Buffy smartphone will support HTML5 technology platform for all applications. The plan is 12 to 18 months away, Buffy will get to market.
The presence of Buffy is claimed to be a significant shift for Facebook, which is engaged in a collaboration with the holding of hardware vendors to be more oriented in developing mobile social networking.
Unfortunately, a Facebook spokesman declined to comment on rumors. Including representatives from HTC.
"We think every mobile device is better if it is very social," the spokesman said.
"We work across the mobile industry, with operators, hardware manufacturers, OS providers and application developers to bring powerful social experience to more people in the world," he said.
