okezone: 2014 Audi R8 More Lightweight & Powerful

Ingolstadt - Audi will launch the second generation R8 sports car. Sports sedan that will be launched in 2014, claimed to be lighter and more powerful than the first generation. 

As reported by Worldcarfans, on Tuesday (9/18/2011) sports sedan there are advantages in weight. This car has a lighter weight than the first generation. Because the car with a production code R8 NF is wrapped with carbon fiber and aluminum hybrid material.

Meanwhile, Audi's Head of Development, Michael Dick added, the combination of the two materials make a significant reduction in weight so as to increase the acceleration of this car.
