IS IT SAFE TO DRINK COUGH SYRUP WHEN ITS CLEAR?

Is it safe to drink cough syrup when its clear?
My sister is sick and she took some cough syrup that was clear.. but on the label it stated for “diabetics” i was questioning if its safe to nevertheless take it the medicine?

It should be. Simply because it states it’s for diabetics, possibly signifies that it just has really tiny (or no) sugar added.

If it is a prescription medicine offered to an individual else in the household it is not excellent for her to take it. If it is specifically for a diabetic person, there might be a thing in that medication that she cannot have.
