"I never thought I could have two world titles (F1GP) at the age of 30 this, to be honest because I know how hard it is to win the Formula One, how difficult it is to be successful in this sport," said Alonso was launched from PlanetF1, Friday (29/07/2011).
For Alonso, what he has achieved a matter of luck. Alonso did not want to boast a record menyaingin's seven times world champion Michael Schumacher and it never occurred to him.
"I was really lucky to win all that I have now, and I do not think at this moment to win seven world titles as he (Michael Schumacher) when I was 42.43, regardless of age," he added.
Alonso admitted that it is very difficult to repeat the achievements of Michael Schumacher, and he believes a record seven times world champion Schumacher's will last a long time.
"In today's highly competitive F1, are all very close. It is very difficult to re-repeat period of dominance that made the Ferrari with Michael, so seven (bachelor's F1GP Schumacher) will be a record that last for years to come, "he said.
