BARCELONA - The Power of the Spanish La Liga club champions and European Champions League Barcelona next season seems to be increasingly powerful. Catalan club has set aside large enough for a player spending in the transfer market this summer.
After finishing this season with a double title success, Vice President of Economics and Finance Javier Faus will announce the amount of funds spent to bring the players club management. Faus said the management has set aside no less than 45 million euros or the equivalent of Rp560 billion to bring the newer players.
This amount is still likely to grow, if successful Barca won the duel El Clasico contra Real Madrid in Spanish Super Cup, August, and the sale of players in the transfer market this summer.
"Barcelona had 45 million euros for the transfer, plus the money that can be obtained from the sale of players at the end of this season," said Faus Goal quoted as saying on Thursday (06/09/2011).
"When we talk about the sale of players, we will only think of those who provide benefits for the club," he continued.
"Spanish Super Cup (against Real Madrid, next August) will give us additional revenue of 3 million euros," he concluded.
With the amount of these funds, Barca seemed to be moving actively on the trading floor this summer. So far, Barca crowded reportedly eyeing Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi and the coveted old, Cesc Fabregas from Arsenal.SimakBaca secara fonetik
