LONDON - Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admitted as a dream to see Thierry Henry proved his ability as a decisive victory when the Gunners get rid of Leeds United in the FA Cup third round with a score of 1-0.
"This is like a little dream, because the story of football like this will you profiled the children later on," said Wenger as reported Tribalfootball, Tuesday (01/10/2012).
"Unfortunately, not often happen like that in our game, but sometimes it happens," said the Frenchman was.
Wenger also tells, how he thinks when Henry get a chance where the player is usually borrowed from the New York Red Bulls were able to score goals. In addition, goals from Henry in the 78th minute also quite surprised him.
"When he reached the position that I thought 'oh, it's angle to shoot', although it's a bit too close, it is where he (Henry) surprised me," he said
"He was not forced to shoot, she still makes it look easy. At first I thought he was too much moved to the left, but his trademark finishing has demonstrated his ability. It was a Thierry Henry finish," he said
Henry, who is now 34 years old, will play for Arsenal for six weeks. He will also take part in the match against Manchester United in the Premier League and AC Milan in the Champions League, maybe even the fight with rivals for the Gunners, Tottenham Hotspur on 26 February.
