Adidas Tango 12 Claimed More Stable

KIEV - Manufacturers of the official ball of Euro 2012, Adidas claimed to have perfected their product development which was originally to be used for the grand event in the European football championships in the summer of next year.

Tango 12 is the official ball of Euro 2012. The ball is claimed is the result of recent development of the German leading apparel. Innovation and research are applied Adidas can not be separated from criticism raised against their previous products, which are notoriously difficult Jabulani conquered by the players during the 2010 World Cup.

"We consider the criticism seriously. We developed a ball and the products we have. We have learned," said Adidas Chief Executive Herbert Hainer told the AP on Saturday (11/03/2011). "Criticisms of the ball was when kicked hard the ball bounced away from what they (players) think, "continued Hainer.

He revealed a little secret, and various aspects of Tango done to refine the 12 depart from the results of research on the Jabulani used in the World Cup last year.

"There are two aspects, first of all we try to make a ball that can spin as much as possible so they can rebound more quickly. Secondly, we played at altitude (such as in South Africa) and the ball could bounce higher."

"Of course, we took all the criticism and input. The ball has greater stability than other balls. Settlement panels give the ball more grip to the ball, as the players want," he continued.

And until now, Hainer said the number of players including the goalkeeper said he was happy with the design of the Tango 12. "All we have heard so far are very positive. Goalkeepers do not like when they conceded. We have Petr Cech and Manuel Neuer to do testing and they were both pleased with the results," complete Hainer.
