okezone.com: Turtles attached Twins Born in the USA

CALIFORNIA - Cases of infants born in a state attached to the body, maybe we've heard. But this time in the United States (U.S.), there were reports of cases of turtles that were born in conditions attached.

An animal lover Todd Ray, got a call from a boy who says that his grandfather had children tortoise who needed help.

The boy knew that Todd will help save children's tortoise-old grandfather of six weeks. Because the child's tortoise twin was born with a condition attached.

"I got a call from a child who says that his grandfather has a turtle with two heads with the state of the body together," Todd said as quoted by the Daily Mail, Monday (10/10/2011).

Todd claimed confused how to handle it, because she feared dead turtle. Then he ordered the child who called him to give the turtle to eat first.

"I told him to feed the turtles, because they feared would be clawing at each other aware of each other so that they can not escape," added Todd.

Seeing turtles twin attached ioni is the first experience for Todd. "This is the first time I saw it. They can not move," he continued.

Todd wanted to separate the two bodies both turtles. However, the separation of animal body attached is a very rare thing.

Dr. Douglas Folland, a veterinarian, said the operation was the separation in tortoises and turtles can be implemented only if attached to the skin. But the sticking of the poor turtle is part of the bone underneath.

"If only the skin that stick can be easily separated, but these turtles are attached to the skeleton underneath, difficult to separate, because they need a bone skeleton," said Dr.. Douglas.
