Radiation in the Sea of Japan 4385 Times Higher

TOKYO - The level of radiation in the waters of Japan due to leaking nuclear power plant (NPP) Fukushima reportedly increasing. Radiation levels reportedly reached 4385 times higher than the standard amount.
Through the water samples collected by experts, in the territorial waters of which reached 330 meters menutur Pacific Ocean, showed an increase of radiation compared to the previous day.
Though the amount of isotope I-131 is level 3355 times greater than normal amount. Now radiation increased dramatically and continues to make Japan's nuclear crisis is at its highest point. So reported CNN on Thursday (31/03/2011).
Contamination of sea water is estimated to come directly from problems occurring plants, which were severely damaged after the earthquake and tsunami hit last March 11.
But the Japanese government has not determined the exact cause of the spread of this radiation.
Officials also said they do not believe that the amount of radiation is currently threatening the health of humans who consume seafood. This can be ascertained because fishermen are prohibited from sailing within a distance of up to 20 kilometers from the plant.
Water is the major key of the Japanese Government's efforts to overcome the leak in its nuclear generating facilities. Workers have poured tons of water to prevent radioactive material to heat up.
