Maldonado Surprising Victory

BARCELONA - Pastor Maldonado surprisingly managed to win the Spanish GP. Williams was a successful racer to beat Fernando Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen in the second and third place.
Maldonado became the fifth rider from five different teams that won five F1 series earlier this season. Jenson Button (McLaren), Fernando Alonso (Ferrari), Nico Rosberg (Mercedes), and Sebastian Vettel (Red Bull) are capable of winning races.
Maldonado who occupy pole position in the race at the Circuit de Catalunya on Sunday (05/13/2012) night, actually had overtaken the first corner Alonso in the opening lap.
However, the exact pitstop strategy of team Maldonado Williams finally put back into the first position. Venezuela rider aged 27 through 66 even this end the race with a lap time of 1 hour 39 minutes 9 seconds.
Alonso finished second behind Maldonado with a time of 3.1 seconds slower. Raikkonen followed in third place with a time of 3.8 seconds slower than Maldonado.
The defending champion from Red Bull Racing's Sebastian Vettel only ranked sixth in the rear driver Romain Grosjean and Lotus Sauber driver Kamui Kobayashi.
Demonstrated excellent performance of McLaren-Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton is capable of finishing in eighth place behind the Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg. In fact, Hamilton must start the race from the position of the most bloated, start-to-24, after the disqualification in qualifying on Saturday (12/5) yesterday.
