CALIFORNIA - Apple board member Mickey Drexler opens a little old story about the desire of Apple founder Steve Jobs. Drexler claims, the late Jobs that have a desire to design a car.
This statement came in an interview at the conference Innovation Uncensored Fast Company. Drexler said, Jobs wants to build what is referred to as "ICAR", before his death in 2011.
"Look at the car industry, this is a tragedy in America. Who is designing cars? Dreams Steve (Jobs) before death is to design an ICAR. But he never designed it (the car), "Drexler said, as quoted by Apple Insider, Friday (17/05/2012).
Not only about the old desire Jobs, Drexler also mentioned that a lot of rumors reported this back, an Apple TV, otherwise known as iTV. According to him, Apple will "have a deal" with living in the near future, a statement that allegedly led to a television.
Even so, it is unclear whether Drexler has specific information about the release of the device and its specifications.
Drexler is a member of Apple's board of directors since 1999, is the former CEO of Gap brand clothing, before it was eventually fired in 2002. He was recruited by J. Crew and tried to rebrand the company as high-end fashion boutique America.
