MUNICH - Chelsea finally won his first Champions League trophy, after bending Bayern Munich on penalties with the score 4-3 (1-1) at the Allianz Arena.
In the second interval Bayern Munich scored a header past Thomas Mueller. But unfortunately, the goal is directly returned by a header from Didier Drogba. The match had to end at 1-1 and continued into the extra period, even to the end by a shootout.
Playing in front of his own supporters, Bayern Munich take the initiative to attack from the first half whistle blew. The result, in the fourth minute Bastian Schweinsteiger threatened goalkeeper Petr Cech, if it does not kick bounced over goalkeeper Cech.

Both teams continued to play attacking and many opportunities were still created by the two clubs. But unfortunately until well into extra time of 2 X 15 minutes, both teams are reluctant to create the winning goal. The match was to be resolved on penalties.
