CALIFORNIA - Android and the iPhone seems to continue to compete for the top position in the smartphone market in the United States (U.S.).

In a recent survey, 71 percent of smartphone users using Android or iPhone device.

This survey also mentions about the smartphone apps, iPhone and Android smartphone even more dominant with 83 percent of downloaders applications, namely, those who download an application within 30 days, using the iPhone or Android smartphone.

According to the latest Nielsen data, 44 percent of all U.S. mobile subscribers now have a smartphone. Among those who buy a new phone in the last three months. So that was launched via the official website on Thursday (1/12/2011).

Meanwhile, 56 percent chose smartphones. Android still the leading smartphone operating system while Apple is the leading smartphone manufacturers.
