okezone: Milan Can Win Serie A and Champions

MILAN - AC Milan striker Robinho said the club is a serious contender to retain the Italian Serie A league title and win Champions League this season. Despite a difficult start this season, Robinho believes there are still many games left to be won by the Rossoneri.

"There are many teams in Italy that is tough to beat," he told Sky Sport Italia, Tuesday (18/10/2011).

"But, with all due respect, if we play with the same hunger as last season, we can win the league title," he added.

"I do not know if we are strong, but clearly we are strong. This is just the beginning of the league, there are a lot of games left and we have to keep doing what we do as against Palermo," he explained.

Brazilian international is also seen Milan can go further and say that Milan is a serious contender in the Champions League after holding Barcelona at the Nou Camp and beat Viktoria Plzen at the next Group H match.

"When Milan played, we have a primary goal. Looking at the quality of our squad, I think we can win the Scudetto and Champions Champions.Saya know it will not be easy, but our dream is to win everything," he said

Milan is currently in second place in Group H behind Barcelona and they will face BATE Borisov on Wednesday or Thursday (19/10/2011) pm dawn.
