A combine of music superstars are going to be creating the journey down the yellow brick road.
Queen Latifah and Virgin Mary J. Blige have joined the forged of NBC’s “The maven Live!”
Latifah can play the titular maven, whereas Blige has been forged as Evillene, the Wicked Witch of the West.
“The maven Live!” is govt producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron third’s live musical production for NBC, following “The Sound of Music” and “Peter Pan.”
This isn’t the primary time Latifah has asterisked during a Zadan/Meron musical: she conjointly had major roles in film diversifications of “Hairspray” and “Chicago,” the latter leading to associate degree honor nod for the star.
