As not to be outdone by the current trend, the Mercedes-Benz reportedly preparing an electric car. This car will be the opponent for their arch-rivals, the BMW i3 which has had.
The news blows when the German media, Auto Motor und Sport said that the German company designing a new electric car to counter the BMW i3. Mercy prefer to create an electric car than make a car with a conventional engine.
Currently, the concept car is still being studied before final commitments are made.
On the other hand, the design chief Gorden Wagner Daimler said that they are also finalizing the birth of their newest sports car, AMG GT. The car also will have the entry-level version.
Some reports suggest that AMG GT will be utilizing a twin-turbocharged engine capacity of 4.0 liters. The V8 engine was believed capable of producing 502 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque.
The weight of the car will be made as light as possible. Believed, the car's weight will be less than 1,600 kg.
It is estimated, AMG GT will be shown on the 9th of October at the Paris Motor Show and will go on sale from March 2015 While electric cars Mercy will be shown in 2015.
