After passing through a long process , Apple's smart watches , iWatch is rumored to be released in the third quarter of 2014 . Apple took a number of Taiwanese vendors to supply spare parts support .
The iWatch news will be the release was first reported by the Chinese -language daily newspaper , the Economic Daily News ( 8/4/2014 ) . On its website , calling EDN Apple is targeting production of 65 million units shipped iWatch for year-end 2014 .
Apple took the Taiwanese manufacturer , Quanta Computer , chip manufacturers Richtek also entered the ranks of Apple's supply chain . IWatch touch screen panels supplied by TPK , while the processor Apple iWatch entrusted to Samsung .
In order to meet targeted deadlines , Apple requested that the partner manufacturers have started production run in August 2014 .
Not Sure what are the features that Apple introduced the first wearable gadgets . However, according to Mac Rumors ( 08/04/2014 ) , the device will have a biometric sensor to track its health statistics .
Health statistics are owned iWatch rumor among other sleep activity , UV exposure , and heart rate . Companion app Healthbook also rumored to be available on iOS devices that will be carried iWatch 8 and iPhone to monitor and record other health statistics .
If true iWatch will be released in the third quarter ( July-September ) in 2014 , it is likely Apple will show iWatch in the form annual event held company , Apple Worldwide Developers Conference ( WWDC 2014 ) .
This year , WWDC will be held on June 2 in San Francisco , USA. Apple CEO , Tim Cook will deliver a speech . One of the eagerly anticipated addition to iWatch is 8 operating system iOS , OS X 10:10 , Apple TV , and MacBook Air .
