LONDON - Rampant news of interest from several top European clubs against Arsenal striker Robin van Persie (RVP), Arsene Wenger does not necessarily make a panic.
As reported by the Daily Star on Monday (6/18/2012) Wenger reportedly gave the green light to the RVP to get out of Emirates Stadium, if it is needed. According to one source of the Gunners says Wenger ready to release the 28-year striker to another club.
"Of course, Arsene wants Robin (van Persie) approved a new contract and fulfill his promise to Arsenal. That is to say, "said one source of Arsenal, as reported by the Daily Star, Monday (06/18/2012).
"But if it's not going to happen (new contract), he explained to the board of directors that they should not panic and sell Van Persie. Obviously with the right price, "he continued.
Currently RVP was assessed several major clubs, from La Liga Real Madrid and Barcelona there. As for Juventus in Italy there are "desperate" to woo the former Feyenoord player.
But the player explained, he did not want to think about his future. RVP admits that they want to focus on defending his country, the Netherlands in the Champions Euro 2012 Poland-Ukraine.
