This woman Use Robot Legs to Events London Marathon

LONDON - After the accident when riding a horse that happened to a woman named Claire Lomas six years ago. He
reportedly will not be able to walk again, but who would have thought
with the aid of robotic legs, Claire can walk back and ready to follow
the London Marathon event.
Reported by Slashgear, Monday (4/23/2012), Claire is known as a professional horseman. Sitting in a wheelchair for life is nothing more than something that is very hit him. Right in 2006 when he rode tough, unexpected events lead to him that he was thrown from horse riding.
This woman is reportedly paralyzed from the chest, injuring the neck, back and ribs. Making it unable to walk after the incident.
Claire first saw the foot robot or device called ReWalk Bionic via the internet. Driven by a strong desire to be able to walk again as well as support from family and friends, Claire took off $ 70 thousand to get the robot legs.
There are motion sensors embedded in the robot legs to help move or lift the leg. The most difficult thing for Claire is when she must stand with both feet.
Slowly but surely, Claire tries to learn to walk menggunan robot's foot. At first he could only walk two steps. But after a few weeks, he was able to walk approximately 30 steps.
Now, he is optimistic can step or walk much further than that, even confident to participate in the event the London Marathon some time to come. With its participation in the event the London Marathon, making Claire as the first to use the Bionic ReWalk with the distance of approximately 26 miles.
Claire hopes to contribute to the Spinal Research is a charity or a charity which funds medical research in the treatment of paralysis. One of the biggest desire is to seek to raise funds to reach more than 50 thousand pounds for Spinal Research.
"There are a lot of people are worse than me and does not have support like that I get. So, I want to raise (raising funds) as much as I can," he concluded.
