Rossi's Find a Suitable Setting

BOLOGNA - Ducati rider, Valentino Rossi, admitted his team had found a satisfactory setting for the bike. For him this would be a good basis to be able to race at Jerez next week.

Ducatti was not able to find the best setting for the bike riders. The result would be felt when the race, with Rossi only managed to reach the top 10 at the end of the race at the Losail circuit, Qatar, while her colleague Nicky Hayden took the sixth position.

"At the end of the third day of testing in March, we have found a satisfactory setting for the GP12, so we have a basis for initiating this track (Jerez) as well as we prepare for the race bike," said Rossi, quoted by Autosport, Wednesday (25 / 4/2012).

MotoGP title holder ever with seven world titles will try setting it on a practice session on Friday and Saturday. Rossi also explained what was to be the focus in the practice session ahead of the race.

"It would be very important to work well during the day on Friday and Saturday practice sessions, focusing on maintaining a good direction and take advantage of what we do today," he added.

Poor outcome in Qatar seems to be a crack Rossi to get up and perform better in Jerez. "I really like the track in Jerez and we should try to be better than during the race in Qatar," he said.
