After Instagram, Facebook Back Buy Startup


SAN FRANCISCO - Facebook reportedly bought a startup from San Francisco, Tagtile. This startup is made by a former VMware engineers, and technicians Abheek Anand Mazumbar Google Soham.

The entrepreneur is creating a system that allows customers using iPhone or Android for check-in at the shops and get a gift of discounts, coupons or points.

The acquisition of an undisclosed amount is the latest step the social networking giant after a while and then buy Instagram worth $ 1 billion. "We are pleased to confirm that the founder Tagtile join Facebook. Facebook will acquire most of the assets of the company," said Facebook, as reported by the Times of India, Sunday (15/04/2012).

Meanwhile, the founder of the startup also has submitted a statement in a web posting on the company. "We started Tagtile with a simple goal of helping local business owners build better relationships with their customers," says founder Tagtile.

"We are pleased to announce that we join Facebook. This is an opportunity for us to take our goals and do it on a larger scale than we could do ourselves," he added.
