CALIFORNIA - Game never be apart of this lifestyle in line with technological advances. But, do you know what the title game that was first created?
Spacewar name is less familiar to lovers of the game, but I tell you the first Spacewar is a game created in the world. This game was made 50 years ago by Steve Russell. But do not imagine, Spacewar game played on consoles such as this.
Spacewar was created for the PDP-1 minicomputer by Digital Equipment with the help of a development team that includes Martin Graetz, Pete Samson and Dan Edwards. They also changed the perception of people who think the computer is only for serious work.
Quoted Efy Times, Monday (2/13/2012), compared with a game that we play on our computers these days, Spacewar game is very simple. Two players can play the game by taking control of a spaceship trying to destroy each other.
Spacewar has a very unique option called Hyperspace. By entering Hyperspace, the user can move to a random location on the screen. But there is always a risk of exploding if used too often.
On the 50th anniversary of the release of a video game, engineering students from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) simulation of Spacewar exhibit at the MIT campus and at the MIT museum.
MIT Director, Phillip Tan said that there is enough downtime is provided on the PDP-1 compared with the IBM mainframe utilizing every second and do not let people fool around with it.
