Amazon Brand Tablet No. 2 in the World

CALIFORNIA - The online market still looks 'silent' although the Kindle Fire has shown how well it looks when it launched late last year. It was seen as recently, an analyst predicts six million Kindle Fire were sold in Q4 last.

Reported by Mobile-ent, Friday (17/2/2012), iSuppli's turn this time 'throwing' new number, say that Amazon has shipped 3.9 million devices in the fourth quarter of 2011 and controlled 14 percent market share. This figure does not seem bad, consider this new device launched in November last year.

Shipment even though arguably not too big, at least not too far from initial expectations as much as five million units. So with this pencapian Amazon became the number two brand in the world.

While Apple, predictably still dominates with 15.4 million iPad shipments in the same quarter, and 57 percent market share. Although the tablet remains the number one brand, but unfortunately it's market share compared to third quarter declined by 64 percent.

So Apple and Amazon lead the world brand tablet, Samsung must be willing awarded third place with shipments of 2.1 million tablets in the fourth quarter of 2011 and eight percent market share. Meanwhile, Barnes & Nobles finished fourth with a seven percent market share.

The battle between this tablet would be more interesting, especially with the presence of a variety of news about the new tablets this year, particularly amid the warmth of conversation about the iPad 3, iPad Mini and Kindle Fire were even larger.
