CALIFORNIA - According to StatCounter, Google Chrome back to grab the latest achievements. The latest version of web browser that the search giant has just dethrone Internet Explorer (IE8) web browser into the desktop of the most popular in the world.
Reported by Mashable, Friday (16/12/2011), Chrome 15 now control 24.55 percent of the worldwide market, beating IE8 has a 22.16 per cent. While Firefox 8.0 lags far 15.53 percent.
Given the high share of Internet Explorer, can not be released from its association with Windows. Internet Explorer is the default browser on a Windows machine, thus making it a dominant market share.
IE8 was released in 2008 was the last version of the browser, which is made in order to be compatible with PCs running Windows XP, the OS prior to Windows Vista and Windows 7.
Although version 15, Chrome could be regarded as a new browser, which was first launched in 2008. Chrome when it became very popular among the 'tech-savvy' for speed, spartan design, frequency and automatic updates. These features are eventually copied by other browsers, including Internet Explorer.
