MANCHESTER - Bad news for fans of Manchester United. Coach Sir Alex Ferguson Nemanja Vidic will be out for sure until the end of next season.
As is known, the Serbian defender was injured when the Red Devils defeat of Basel 1-2 in Champions League qualifying match.
In that game, Vidic was forced out early. His position on the game was replaced by Jonny Evans.
At a press conference held in Manchester, the morning local time, Ferguson ensure that the United captain's season is over.
"We think the injury was very bad at all. Vidic should be absent until the end of this season. It is not expected, but still bad news," said Ferguson.
"On Monday, Vidic will meet spesalis to find out further developments," said the Scot was in United's official website on Friday (12/09/2011).
