okezone: iPhone 4S Scatter Threat to Rival

SAN FRANCISCO - Apple's latest product, the iPhone 4S would seem to be selling phone ever, of course this will create a rival to worry.

As reported by Reuters on Saturday (15/10/2011), on the first day sales, one in four people who thronged the Apple store in San Francisco said that they hoped that this new product would be much better than the Blackberry, Nokia and Android.

The majority of the 127 4S iPhone buyers surveyed in the United States, Japan, Australia, France, Germany and Britain, say they want to bahawa uprade their phones.

While the other 28 people say they want to change the cell phone. Some of them feel disappointed by Research in Motion (RIM) with a problem that occurs on the BlackBerry this week.

RIM's share in global smartphone market fell to 11.7 percent from 13.0 percent in the first quarter. According to Gartner analyst Ken Dulaney, Android market share to rivals Apple is increased, amounting to 43.3 percent from 36.4 percent and Apple's market share also rose to 18.2 percent compared to previous year of 16.9 percent.

Apple's new phone is not much different from previous generations, the iPhone 4. iPhone 4S has advantages, such as a faster processor, better camera, and the presence of siri technology, the phone can recognize and execute voice commands.

"Siri is amazing, I do not think that Apple will do all this on the phone," said James Thompson, an Apple buyer who was willing to travel for 6 hours from Los Angeles to San Francisco.
