Nyon - UEFA president Michel Platini dismissed the notion to try the big European clubs immune to the law. French football legend does not even hesitate to prove his statement.
During this time, many doubted the policy of UEFA to attack a number of big European clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona and Chelsea. However, Platini replied by the existence of the Financial Regulations of the Fair Play for the European football authorities.
Platini insisted would never be afraid to give sanction to the big clubs of Europe, especially if they fail to follow the new rules. This rule alone will be effective only in 2012.
"When there is a deficit worth 1.2 million euros in European football, then that danger," said Platini in La Razon.
"If the question is, will I dare to punish the most popular clubs, then my answer is'yes',"said the former Juventus star, as reported by Goal, Friday (18/03/2011).
