Indonesia won a glorious victory in the 
first place winner and entitled to the gold medal for Robot Soccer category at the World Robotics Olympiad (WRO) held at the SMX Convention Center Hall, Manila, Philippines.
Description obtained from Mikrobot Experience Center in Jakarta, Wednesday (17/11), states, Indonesia sent 11 teams in the competition robot. The team consists of students from elementary, junior high school and Robot Soccer team. "Of the 11 teams that we submit, Robot Soccer team that won the championship," said Paula from Mikrobot Experience Center.
World Robotic Olympiad which was held on November 6, 2010 is the international events held every year. Pelombaan is open to students from elementary to college students. This event is the culmination of a national competition event that has been followed previously by all the participants from each country.
WRO this year followed by 700 participants from 22 countries, while Indonesia to send 38 participants, divided into 11 teams to participate in Robot Soccer Regular Categories and Categories. Participants representing WRO Indonesia is the winner and some participants who took part of Indonesian Robotic Olympiad 2010, which was held at the BPPT Building in Jakarta on August 14, 2010.
This year marks the 7th held WRO. In the category of Robot Soccer, Team Indonesia must compete with 20 teams from other countries and can win first prize. Previously, the WRO 2009, Indonesia won 2, 3 and 5.
WRO in 2011 held in Abu Dhabi. The Indonesian team was determined to re-won achievement. A number of achievements have been achieved by Indonesia in various international competitions rombot. Team Robot Indonesian Computer University (UNIKOM) successfully defended his title as champion at RoboGames. 114 DU robot successfully steal the gold for the category of open-autonomous fire fighting robot.
RoboGames 2010 held in San Mateo County Event Center, USA, on 24-25 April 2010 Robot Team Polytechnic State Electronics Surabaya (PENS) Ten November Institute of Technology is also an international robot contest ABU Asia Pacific Robot Contest 2010 on 20-21 September 2010 in Cairo, Egypt. This robot team became the first champion ever in Fukushima, Japan in 2000
